Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I'm hoping to head back to the U.S in October for a year or two to work. I spent 10 weeks there during the winter I have numerous job offers so sponsorship shouldnt be a problem. My question is, could i apply for a J1 as im out of school and never went to collage? I'm 22.What would be the best visa?? Can anyone tell me what they have paid for certain visas, am I better off doing it myself or go through a solicitor?

*** Moving from USA Travel to USA forum, where questions about living in the US/ Visas go ***

No J1 as you are not in third level education or recently graduated from same. For other work visas you need specialist skills or education (H1B), or to be transfered by your company (L1), or have lots of money to invest. Your employer will petition for your visa, which costs them upward of $5000.
