How many of you have had your appendix, tonsils or something else removed?

I had my appendix out when I was 12 after receiving an insides shuddering kick in the balls during a football match. Puked immediately. 5 hours later I was appendixless.

How do you mean possibly?
Did they play rock paper scissors while you were under to see what got taken out? Didn't they tell you afterwards/beforehand?

It doesn't sound like they're on a sound legal footing here, at al, at all.

It doesn't sound like they're on a sound legal footing here, at al, at all.

Surgery when I was under one year, Doctor says it's highly possible it was removed as the surgery was in that general area and my Mother doesn't recall if they removed it.

It still 'hurts' at times, especially during cold weather.

I had my tonsils removed when I was a kid. I also had a tooth removed in hospital. It was a pointed tooth growing in-between my front teeth. Not sure why a dentist couldn't have removed it though.

Appendix and wisdom teeth. I also had a stone removed from my forehead. I fell and it somehow stuck in my head and healed do it had to sliced out and removed.

Nope, never had an operation in my life. I did once have to get some of the top of my mouth removed to expose a sideways tooth (so they could put braces on to pull it down into position), which apparently some people opt to go into hospital for. I just got a bit of local anesthetic and was out in under an hour :pac:.

Never had a "real" operation though

I came close to having my tonsils and/or adenoids removed when I was a kid but it didn't happen. The closest I've come to having a surgery was getting a few stitches when I once banged my head...

Never had a broken bone either. There were a good few occasions when I felt I definitely broke or at least cracked a bone but everything was fine on the x-ray. So I guess I have pretty strong bones or something...

They had to remove a bunch of excess scar tissue, unblock my tubes, unravel random veins, and burst some cysts.

Physically not so bad but emotionally a bit messed up. It's one of those things that's out of your hands if it happens.
