Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Watching England today was like watching Ireland play in white shirts. Difference is they have a midfield. Think they should use it tbh. Don't mind Ireland playing that way even though we are going to leave the stench of our football all over Europe but when others start doing it you realise how painfully boring it is to watch.

Saw last 20 minutes of the game. First time seeing Hazzard, he was quiet enough until near the end from what the commentator said. He looked ok, he's certainly not the next Messi anyways as some people have been saying. In fairness to him, he was playing with a very average Belgium side, and when Felaini is one of your attackers up front, its very hard for Hazzard as players like Messi are only as good as those they play along side allow them to be, ie good service, one-twos, etc with the likes of Xavi. He's very quick though, which can only be a good thing, and he seems intelligent enough. Let's see how he does in the Premiership.

A few weeks ago, you hadn't even heard of him. Even now, you can't even spell his name correctly!! When you post, are you being serious or is this a character you're trying to create!!!!

England, I think, will prosper if they play with a disciplined, defensively minded counter attacking style. Being tough, organised and difficult to break down will be the forward for teams like Ireland and the home nations. These teams are not going to be adopting the continental style any time soon so it's the next best thing. Of course, England have a higher pedigree than Ireland so theoretically they could make a cattenaccio type system work better and more efficiently but they've not had the time to really get it into their bones and I have to feel that there will always be huge pressure on that team from the pundits, the public and the F.A. to try and play premier league style 'power football' which although exciting to watch at times, has gotten them nowhere near the levels of success their international ranking has suggested they should be achieving.

He also scored 0 goals, which is one less than Danny Welbeck.

    Welbeck >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hazard.

    :D:pac:

    He's not a striker!
    He was yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
