Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

iPhone 4s issue with sound when recording videos

    Hi

    Can anyone help on this? My software is up to date but when I record videos the sound quality is appalling. I have previously recorded videos with no issue they all have excellent sound.

    Anyone know what the issue here might be?

    I am genuinely not being smart here, but could you be blocking the microphone when you are recording? It has happened to me a few times when I wasn't paying attention. It pretty much eradicates the sound and can be easily done with a stray finger or part of a hand...

    Ha ha I know what you mean Ronan but it's definitely not that. Very frustrating because previous videos are all perfect, don't know what the issue is, the only thing Ive done recently is update the software.

    It could be a fault with the second mic. Happened to mine a few months ago. Try recording in the voice memos and see if the sound is the same. Calls etc were fine for me

    I recorded a voice memo and the sound was perfect? How did you get your phone sorted?

    Sent it back to apple. It was still in warranty and took 4-5 days to get a replacement back

    Ok thanks for that... Did you lose anything off your phone photos messages etc?
    Better go back to 3 with it so...

    Just back it up with iTunes before sending it back. Ring apple and set up a repair, they send a courier to collect the phone and deliver a replacement to you and it will most probably be quicker than 3
