Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I for one am quite happy it's raining tonight. Very cosy and peaceful! All that sun and hot weather would drive you mad everyday.

So what do ye all think?

I thought there were less ants in my house but my extremely myrmecophobic friend has pointed out that no, they are merely hiding under the rug. So I'm on the fence.

I sleep to the mp3 of a rainstorm every night. Can't sleep without it. Rain allows me to turn the mind off and relax.

Excessively sunny days or rainy days make me grumpy. I know, a bit of a goldilocks when it comes to weather, but there it is.

I might welcome it if we got more than 4 days of sunshine a year but as it stands it can fcuk off with itself.

No I don't... a rainy day is like a lost day for me, I just laze around and do nothing... except get soaked walking to and from work.

Rain is like alcohol: fine in moderation. Wouldn't turn i down right now, though.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Maybe initially, but we are going to have to start administering sandbags at this rate.

I'm a mid to high teens man. Sun 3 days on / 3 days off, were past that now but least the climate is still life sustainable from a seated position

Ideally half the week should be rain, the rest can be sunshine.. Balances itself out nicely.. as if that's gonna happen though:mad:

I like lovely sunny days. But when it rains I like it hard and heavy.

Also I don't like the **** excuse for rain spray of water we get in Dublin.
I prefer a nice proper thunderstorm downpour... Unless it blocks off all the streets in Dublin and it takes me 5hrs to get home from the city!

I like the rain, I've got the 2 windows in my room open listening to it. I don't mind walking in the rain either if I have no place special to be.

Love the sound of the rain hitting on my window at night time when I'm in my bed and everything else is quiet...

Also I like during the day how everything looks a lot brighter and more vibrant after a downpour.

how can anyone hate the sun or get sick of it ? do we not get piss ed on all year round ? one thing is for sure we're the most fickle nation on the planet , " sick of this rubbish rainy weather " ...... "ahhh its the sun!!!! , run away before we burn like a crisp" , the weather doesn't have a switch so enjoy the sun while you can for as long as you can.
