Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would be great if we'd be laughing about a time when so many schools owned by the catholic church. That'd be something.

Clothes. Not what we were wearing, just the fact that we were wearing them.

(More like 50 to 100 years for this one, but I took artistic licence.)

    Probably loads of social issues...

How the church dominated Irish society for so long.
    The uproar about gay marriage.
    How racist people were.

The thread premise seems to be that we laugh at older computers and technology ( do we?) and so people will laugh at today's technology in 10-15 years. It's basically saying - will technology move on. In a stupid way.

Anyway one thing we won't be laughing at in 10-15 years is this thread. Because we aren't now.

8 to 13 year old girls looking back 10 to 15 years? Now I'm no big city mathematician but something just doesn't quite add up here.

    not sure if serious...

a girl who's 13 now in 15 years time can still look back 15 years, cos she'll be 28 by then.

People came to Ireland looking for work.

Will also look back and laugh at the extortionate prices charged by tradesmen and how you used to have bow before them as they came into your modest house to fix things like a broken tile or faulty rad thermostat. (how the tables have turned!)

People will still be laughing at Father Ted and Only Fools and Horses.

at how jedward went prematurely bald and their career plunged without the electro hair. Bit like how we laugh thinking about bros. when they aged a bit. Couldn't think of anything philosophical or tecchy, jedward will have to do. Hah ha, Baldward.. nah, me either.

That people used to finish sex with the penis inside an orifice, instead of straddling the young wan's face, trying to glue her eyelids shut.

That people used to get wanked-off in teenage discos and cinemas ("What? No fists? Not even a rimjob?")

TVs as the main viewing device (I have high hopes for projectors).

5MB broadband speeds and 500GB limits.

Brian Cowen in a hospital bed suffering painfully from alcoholic liver disease and none of the hospital staff helping him.

You can already hear the doctors..."Now we'll see how you like cuts!" while revealing the sharp implement from their scrubs.
