Anything other than slugs eating my petunias?

I've the slug pellets down and the copper bands around the pots. The flower parts of the petunias are still getting eaten by slugs! I wonder if (a) these are super slugs immune to all slug-killing methods or (b) could something else be eating them?? And if yes, what? Thanks!
