Thread Move to 'No Posting' forum

Hi folks: I just noticed that a thread was moved to the Dublin County North ('no posting' parent forum). Surely this should not be possible? I'm not too sure how long it was there, but have left it so that you can take a look at it before I move it. tHB

Why not? This isn't a bug, IMO.

A forum that's closed for new posts is still open for old posts to be moved there. Think about the Newbies & FAQ archive - closed for posts, but old stuff gets moved in there all the time. Same with the Recycle Bin The mod who moved the thread should have been more careful :pac:

As an aside, perhaps the most confusing thing about this whole scenario is that Dublin County North is not open for posting and has just one subforum, also called Dublin County North, which is open for posting
