Installing new graphics card

I changed in the bios to pci express

My problem is when I install the GPU I get no picture even if I use the motherboard connector, just a dark picture. Take the GPU out it works perfect. Did I get the wrong GPU or somthing?

Try disabling the on-board graphics altogether in the BIOS.
Next the obvious, verify you're connected to the new card not the on-board.
It should boot up using the 5450 automatically.

The BIOS is pretty old on that motherboard, last update 2007,
i'm wondering if it's a BIOS issue, if you are still having problems.

Thanks for for the reply. I think its the BIOS problem myself tbh

I looked up the instructions on how to updat the BIOS but it only gives me instructions on how to do it floppy :rolleyes:

Can anyone advice me on what to do please
