Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Ger Gilroy, then MNS tweeted about it. You know Twitter though... nothing confirmed yet.

Started by a pats fan it seems.

In management and progression terms, I hope it's true. Financially, it sets us back a few months in revenue alone...in profit turns... I dont even like to know.

On the other hand...an arrangement could have been made.

    What's Bohs weekly wage bill?

Something along the lines of 2k per week. Say 8 players on a couple of hundred a week and another few on 50 expenses with the rest being amateurs.

If the rumours of Kenny getting sacked are true, our budget allocation for manager for the next two years would be half of your whole playing staff budget week vs week.

Unbelievable to hear what Dundalk's wage bill is compared to Bohs. Not that it's an excuse, but if you are gonna pay that salary, you'd at least want quality for it! Dundalk are awful.

The lad isn't all there. Some of the stuff he comes out with... If I didn't know any better I'd swear some tramp was appointed manager in error. Nothing about him from the way he dresses, looks, acts have a football feel about it.

that is insane money especially considering the players you have playing for you, your board really ****ed up big time.

Yeah both with the appointment of McCaffrey and allowing the transfer policy he put in place

We're in a good position in terms of youth players coming through, who'd be willing to play for peanuts. The likes of Feely, Buckley and McEvoy have been great for us. Not going to win us any titles by themselves but more than enough to keep us from the drop it seems.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Heary reckons the squad could go on the win the league if they were kept together for a few years. No chance we manage to keep most of them though.

I don't think it's that small. I read €3800 at the start of the year in the paper which included the management. I can't see the management making up 1800 a week. I'd imagine the players' budget is around 3k.

But it's still way less than half of what Dundalk are spending

It'd wanna be a serious high earner being ditched to bring in Kavanagh, he'd surely be your top earner if signed?

Signing for less than he was on at pats last season and still not gauranteed 1st team football, If he signs that is. Its not a high earner thats going but a possible high value player, Bohs will be delighted.

We really are not paying mental wages.

Great signing. He can scores goals and last year I think he got 3 against sh4mr0ck.

Hopefully we can move on a few.
    Barreto and Stewart for example

Feeling a bit ignorant here, can't say I know much about him. What position does he play? Hopefully up front :p

Seems decent enough tbh. Probably a goal every 2.5 games or so with poorer supply at Bray than what we have.

I'd say himself or Corcoran will be 1st striker with the other as second choice. Can't see Scully playing too many other games.

It'll be interesting to see if Bennion will sign now too!

Reckon Murphy will be a cracking signing for Bohs. Wanted us to sign him instead of Anto Flood but meh!

North Rogers Bradley and Kenna the main 4. Kenna gets a sympathy vote for being club captain and having to be spokesman well thats our hypocritical view of him anyway :p

Dont think we should have signed Kelly, plays in fits and starts. Not Floods biggest fan but didnt think some of Buckos signings would be up to much. Gladly proved wrong on all of them, so in Bucko we trust.

Jansson signed for Rovers until end of our season.

reports of sligo rovers financial difficulties should be quashed after this press statement

"Sligo Rovers can announce the signings of Seamus Conneely and Jeff Henderson until the end of the 2013 Airtricity Premier Division season.

The defensive duo make the move to Rovers to take Ian Baraclough’s transfer window signings to three following Ryan Connolly’s switch to the Bit o’Red.

Connelly joins after leaving Sheffield United where he spent 18 months at the English League 1 club.

The right-back, who turns 24 next week, has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 and Under-23 level.

Henderson signs for Rovers from Newcastle United where he spent seven years in their youth set-up and as captain of their reserve team.

The 20-year-old featured in the Newcastle first team squad and also had a spell on loan at Gateshead
    ."

that will disappoint a few around here.

Connelly is a right back and centre back isn't he?
Where does Henderson play in defence? centre back?
    Where does Connolly play?

    Are they all Irish?

Why would signing more players quash those reports?

Conneely could be an excellent signing. Was hoping we would go in for him ourselves.

Conneely should be a great signing.

Said the same about Powell. We do have a good record when it comes to ex-Galway United players though.

Henderson is an English CB and Connolly is a winger. Conneely and Connolly are both Irish. Well Conneely was born in England but moved to Galway when he was a kid and speaks Irish, so we'll call him Irish :p.
