Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, Sorry now I have no work for you, I am thinking of returning to college to do some thing like Environmental or maybe something like Energy, as i'm now unemployed and I feel that this is an area that might offer employment in the future, As I have been out of education for a while, I'm wondering is there a big work load or would this course that you are doing require a big committment, What subjects would be covered, is there lab work to be done aswell, and do you think that all these subjects that you have done are relevent, Do the lectures in your college seem to think that there will be jobs in this sector,
I am based in the West so ideally would like to do this in Galway or Sligo,
Best wishes with your hunt for work and your course.

Conor_M1990 did this work for you? Did anyone message you? (Trying to find experience myself).

It's a difficult area. Many places would not even take me even though I didn't expect any payment.

Nope. I had a few repeat exams last year so the idea went to the wayside.

Finished college got my degree and I reckon I'll be off to canada or new Zealand in the new year try to make a go of it out there.

Its a numbers game at the end of the day.

A fair bit of work in the UK at the minute, no need to go to Canada or New Zealand unless you want to.

This is my other account. I've being applying for jobs in the UK and I'm having no luck.

Fair enough so, I'm based here and while jobs aren't being thrown around there's definately lots of vacancies if you're not overly fussy on the sort of environmental work you'll be doing or where you're based.
