So basically have a date for Friday night, we are both chefs, he doesn't work as a chef anymore I do, I need somewhere that is going to provide good food at a reasonable price so that we don't focus on food and quality and can focus on getting to know each other

Tenors in Naas - mains for €10, starters and desserts for €5. Couple of restaurants are doing this now so check around.

The brown bear is a must for foodies. It's in two mile house.

I know it but to be honest I wasn't that impressed the two times I was there I felt the price for what we got was not comparable I would have preferred to go to Fallons in Kilcullen

As for the Hanged Mans the last time I was there one of the group order a main course without sauce, it came with sauce, he sent it back when it came back to the table the sauce had been scraped off. That puts me off

Was aiming to stay around the border areas

Isn't that in Naas over Kavanaghs?

I booked Hartes in Kildare but if the chef that was over Kavanaghs has moved to a place in Newbridge ... well different spin like

I should have typed L'Olivier. It's on Limerick Lane, just off Newbridge's Main Street.

The one above Kavanaghs was Les Olives. Now something else or closed.

L'Oliver in Limerick Lane has changed hands recently and is under a new name.

Any reports on what it's like?
