The rum ours been around a while, there was talk of it following Quinlan Voss from the clone wars comics.

Definately not for 9 year olds if it follows Voss, some pretty gritty stuff there not your usual starwars fairy tale.

Yeah this has been going around for a while, supposedly they already have 5 episodes written, the main problem now is they say the tech just isnt there for what they want to do

There was something about this before, can't remember the full details but the creators were stalling because they felt they would need big money to make each episode fell the same as the movies.

I heard a rumour that the money raised from re-releasing the movies in 3D would fund this series?

Apparantly they would cost close to $1 million per episode if they were to include all the CGI that Lucas wanted to stick in there.
