Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    RATS
    BLUEBOTTLES
    COCKROACHES
In that order, this time of the year I hate the thoughts of bluebottles around, I go out of my way to kill them.thankfully don't have many cockroaches in this country, but lived abroad for 8 yrs and I despise the bast**ds, as for rats I keep poison down all the time for them, horrible creatures.

Arrrggghhh you have mites!! Put EVERYTHING in tupperware or plastic packaging. The little feckers can get into the paper boxes...we had them two years ago, and that was the only thing that stopped them...*shudder*

Birds, all of them except maybe peacocks, robins, flamingos or doves. I never had a fear of them, used to have my budgie trained to fly at an aunt with a phobia of them though:p Until one day I seen them for what they are. Its a good thing they're the size they are lets just say. Don't like the way they look at you, their squawking, the flapping, their numbers...I just don't like it!

I love apes and wasps are probably my favourite insect. I love that they are unapologetic mercantile bastards. They've got a great colour scheme going on too.

I think the bot fly is up there and then probably some parasitic organisms. Take your pick really. Liver fluke etc.

Cockroaches by a mile. We're very lucky to not really have them in Ireland but I despise the fúckers. They terrify me!

Wasps are a pain in the ass alright and im terrified of them but I could live with them. Its not like they're much of a problem here except for in July and August.

I actually seen a cockroach in Mountjoy once, I was surprised to see one and as far as I remember its the only one I'v ever seen.

The only animal's I'd have fear of in Ireland are bulls and badgers. The rest of them are harmless but I don't like midges though.

Totally off topic but something weird happened. I clicked on all posts from a particular user and then saw something interesting I this thread. Clicked on it and got redirected several times and eventually ended up on a porn site.

On my phone so may accidentally hve clicked twice and tapped one of the ads. Very peculiar, anyone else experience something this on boards???

All my life I have had an irrational fear, no actually an irrational deep seated hatred for these type of creatures.

I cannot go to wildlife parks or the zoo because of it. I have tried to see their intelligence and I know they are the closest thing to humans in terms of DNA etc, but its no use, I just absolutely detest the very sight of them.

I hate when people think its all cute to dress chimps up in human clothes.

I think baby chimps are gross looking ugly things, sorry.

I cant stand the orangey colour of some primates, that freaks me too.

I hate the way they have their asses showing all the time.

I hate rhesus monkeys with their long sharp teeth, It freaks me to think 1 chimp has the power of 6 men. I hate the constant noise they make,do they ever sleep?

I have no grudging respect for these animals, its not like that, if there was a way I could remove them form the entire planet tomorrow then I would gladly do so.

They throw their own **** at each other...and then eat it,sick.

They are aggressive and violent to each other, I hate apes, gibbons, rhesus, chimps, orangatangs and any other monkey you could name.

Dont get me wrong, I am animal lover, I have 2 dogs, I love cats, elephants, no problem with spiders even, or snakes, its just those dam monkeys, they really disturb me.

Am I alone? Is there anyone else out there with the same irrational fear of a particular group of animals?
Agreed, they're ugly ***** and as for those things with the teeth, I'd love to be in a room full of them with a semi auto shotgun in my hands >:)

I see spiders are popping up alot here - just to point out that without spiders we would be totally overrunn with every type of bloodsucking fly, midge, coakroach etc. There are an estimated 4 million spiders of various types in every acre of wild flower meadow consuming vast numbers of pest insects everyday. Without them the planet would be like some sort of Sci-Fi horror show!!
