The dog pee seems to be yellowing the grass in the back garden.

Does any know of any good remedies of counter acting this?

We've been training him to piss in the mulch out front but he's in the back a good bit!

Every time you catch him doing it, flush the area with a bucket of water. It will dilute the ammonia (think it is ammonia that does the harm??) and actually feed the grass around the area. That's why you get a lush green circle around where cats/dogs pee, it's the nitrogen. And throw a bit over him, he'll get the message :)

Add some tomato juice to the dogs food (two tablespoons if it's a big dog)

There is something in it that neutralises the yellowing properties of the pee.

I'm not joking, couldn't believe it worked when I tried it :)
