Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So average person in France will have 13 years of school, 4 of university, 38 of working and 20 retired. 13+4+20=37 They'll spend longer being supported by the state than working. I can see that being cheap.

    Dodgy maths

Dont begrudge them. It's a good thing that France is fighting for a better quality of life for it's citizens.

    Unlike our lot.

Does seem mental in an age of ever improving health and life expectancy to actually lower the retirement age. That said raising ours to 68 is equally daft, far too old an age to force people to work until. There should be some system where if you've made a certain level of contributions you can get your state pension, shouldn't be as narrow as having reached a certain age.
