Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just booked a week with my family (wife, daughter - 2 and a half and son - 8 months) to Albufeira.

Can't wait! Its been too long since we had a holiday - has anyone here been to this place before and what would you recommend to do, to go, etc

    Thanks!

Go to the old town of albufeira, they have some decent restuarants and great food, the new part will be a bit commercial and lively so would steer away from there.

What can you say about places like these apart from the usual water parks e.t.c. are the norm.

Like yourself we are going away saturday week with two kids and for the first time in over 3 years so just looking forward to getting some fine sunshine, food and some form of relaxation, as much as you can with 3 and 6 year old boys. :)

We will also get the last group games of the EURO's and what ever else happens after that, bit of luck Qtr finals e.t.c.

    .

Old town is definitely the nicer part - you can probably walk in depending on where you are staying. There is a water park and tbh not much else apart from pool and beach as far as I can remember. I love Portugal :D

There is a restraunt in the old town called Bravo or Brava which is one of the best I have ever eaten in. You cant miss it as its on the square and it will be busy with all the the outer tables full up. Enjoy.
