The Roadhouse Doors is the complete Doors tribute.
Recreating The Doors live experience as closely as possible in a two hour set
Using original vintage instruments the same as those used by The Doors themselves, this band is a must see for anyone who enjoys great live music with a set that spans the very best of The Doors repertoire presenting the perfect facsimile of the Jim Morrison era, and this seminal sixties group.
The Doors were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore. The band took its name from Aldous Huxley's book The Doors of Perception, the title of which was a reference to a William Blake quotation: "If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. They were among the most controversial rock acts of the 1960s, due mostly to Morrison's wild, poetic lyrics and charismatic but unpredictable stage persona. After Morrison's death in 1971, the remaining members continued as a trio until finally disbanding in 1973.
The Roadhouse Doors is the best tribute to The Doors around
Presenting The Doors music with the highest respect, admiration and accuracy only their genius deserves, they have pulled out all the stops to leave The Doors loyal fans always wanting more, reeling in the psychedelic music experience, unequalled in its 40 year history.
From LA Woman, Riders on the Storm, Light My Fire &The Soft Parade.
The Doors of perception shall open.
