    The 5th John O Loughlin Memorial Darts Tournament will take place in the

    Regency hotel airport road Dublin, on the 12th of August @2pm Sharp.

    The last name will be taken at 1pm.

    The format is the best of 9 legs of 501.

    The entry fee is €20.

    There is a guaranteed prize fund of €3000.

    Winner: €1400
    Runner up: €600
    Semi finalists: €200
    1/4 finalists €75
    Last 16: €40.

    This is another good tournament for the Regency Hotel to host, the Hotel could end up being one of the top venue,s in the country,they look after the players by not charging big prices for the food and drink as well as accommodation and the Centra Supermarket next door is a great addition to the venue

    I have had some call.s about youth,s playing in this tournament , there will be no separate youth,s or Ladies tournament on the day but all youth,s are welcome to play are as the Ladies

    Regency website quoting €70 per single room for the night, not exactly a "reduced rate".

    A reminder to anyone entering this tournament there will be NO DRESS CODE
    on the day and no names taken after the 1 0,clock deadline , if anyone wants to pre enter can post me their entry fee my address is

    The boards will be set up on Saturday afternoon so if anyone who is staying in the Hotel or just wants to practice they can do so after 4 o,clock :)

    Reminder to all dart players going to The John O Loughlin Memorial in The Regency Hotel tommorow , with Cork and Galway playing in Croke Park the traffic will be heavy so leave plenty of time to get to the venue , see ye all there

    After the success of this years tournament the O Loughlin family have decided to add 1000 euro to the prize fund next year to incorporate a Ladies and Youths tournament so it,s very good news for all Darts players concerned
