if I stop paying my spanish mortgage can any potential debt be pursued here in ireland and how would it affect my credit rating there? the property has a mortgage less than its value but legal fees could add up

    ???
If the mortgage is less than the value, why don't you sell, pay off your debt and move on.

Ask a solicitor, but I do know someone who did this and they cant be touched.
Your situation might not be the same though
