Family Holiday in Ireland

Hi All,
For the first time in ages we are staying at home this year. Can't justify the cost of a sunshine holiday, unfortunately. We'd like to rent a nice little cottage or apartment near a beach / pubs / shops, etc., for a week in August. Kids are mid-teens. Kerry ideal but we also like the East Coast. Ideas, suggestions, contacts welcome.

i did that with the kids a few years back and was one of the best holidays we ever had.
