Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think the defender had a part to play in that in fairness. He should be jumping out of the way but is just moping around there. Not exonerating Cech at all just that the defender didn't help.

Cech clearly has an issue with players close to him barging into him..

If this Greek team did first halfs they'd be dangerous.

The standard of referring has been from one extreme to another at the Euros. quite a few have been raelly bad, and then there was Victor Kassai who was excellent.

    Webb was good too.

    Seems their way.

    Greece qualifed with
    p10 7-3-0 14-5 , 24pts

If it had been just their half-time scores they'd be
    p10 1-6-3 3-3 , 9pts

Did anyone hear Brian Kerr's analysis early when asked about the Czechs having the lead and how when you are 2-0 up it can be a dangerous lead and difficult to know what to do.

Kerr responded that it is better to be 2-0 up cos if you are only 1-0 up and you concede then it's 1-1 and you are drawing, but if you are 2-0 and concede one then you are still winning :pac:

Brought on and substituted in the same match.

Must be terribly demoralising for a player!

Well done to the Czechs, hanging in there.

If Poland lose tonight against Russia, the Czech v Poland game will be an immense battle.

Probably thinking back to what might've been had he scored the penalty against Poland.

He looked ready to thump someone:pac:

Did Didi say he had inside information from the Spanish camp that they'll be playing 6 in midfield again? Was only half listening.

Rory Smith ‏@RorySmithTimes Spoken to Warsaw police. Reports that a Russian fan has died are inaccurate.

I know I shouldn't but I hope Russia lose and go on to get knocked out,as unlikely as it is. It's the minority of their fans causing a lot of the trouble that has me thinking that way. Sick of looking at them already.

Call me naive - I'm sure it's not only the Russians that are at it. Also Im sure the majority of their fans are there purely for the football, but I'd just like to see the back of them as soon as possible.

Violence was shocking. Some atmosphere inside the stadium, no matter what the result id fear for a small miniority of trouble makers after the game.
