Noob question about adding another drive.

The wifey has a Dell Studio XPS7100 and recently got a new SSD for the machine.

The thing is when plugging it in, the following cable:

there is only one of them. So I can only plug it onto the one drive. The other cable to plug into the drive there is enough to go around.

Does it matter if this is missing for the other drive (see, said it was a noob question)? Or is it just a matter of getting a cable with two connectors, or just not possible to have two drives?

Ok, scratch the original post... for some reason I assumed the XPS 7100 was a laptop...

You should be able to connect the SSD and the HDD at the same time, you simply need an additional SATA data cable (the motherboard should have additional headers, you don't use a splitter), like this:

Both drives would need both a SATA data cable and a power cable connected in order to work.
