Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can't explain my dislike for Robben so I'm not sad to see the Dutch leave this tournament.

The audio is slightly ahead of the picture on Rte.

Holland are poor, wtf happened to em atall!

Lovely stadia in Kharkiv and Kiev.

Khedira looks much better for Germany than Madrid

I was just going to say that.

It happens all the time on RTE, and rarely on any other station.

    Sloppy techie work.

I know it happens all the time with RTE, switch to BBC but listening to Mark Lawrenson was worse!

Next time Germany have possession watch how many times Schweinsteiger gets on the ball. Its amazing how much goes through him.

If you've Red button you can get BBC 5 Live commentary.

What happens if Holland / Portugal / Denmark all end up with 3 points?

What's the system they use again?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,323 ✭✭✭Savman

The Germans are extraordinary, ruthlessly efficient yet selfless for the cause. Dutch very disappointing it has to be said.

Turn on BBC. Superior commentary and by the sounds of it picture and audio too.

Head to head when two teams are tied, goal difference when its 3 or more.

Mini league between those 3 teams. Funny thing is Holland can still go through if they lose tonight.

Wonder why the BBC haven't got the games on their HD channel

Mathematically they can although it's hard to see it happening considering that they will have 0 points from 6 with -3 goal difference.

I'm watching the game now on BBC HD. I had to tune it in on other channels on sky.

Cheers. I was wondering if they did the head to head somehow with 3 teams.

    Holland are gone so!

Tonights goals conceded wont matter. It will just be the goal difference from their games against Portugal and Denmark.

So a 2 goal win over Portugal would do it? Or have I got it wrong?

That'd leave them tied with the Danes no? The beaten on a head to head between the two, assuming Germany won 1 nil

Game on now 2 nil wud do it :)
