Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you meet three or more of these conditions:

According to the DSM-IV criteria for alcohol dependence, at least three out of seven of the following criteria must be manifest during a 12 month period:
    - Tolerance
    - Withdrawal symptoms or clinically defined Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome
    - Use in larger amounts or for longer periods than intended
    - Persistent desire or unsuccessful efforts to cut down on alcohol use
    - Time is spent obtaining alcohol or recovering from effects
    - Social, occupational and recreational pursuits are given up or reduced because of alcohol use
    - Use is continued despite knowledge of alcohol-related harm (physical or psychological)[1]

Codeine would be the perfect substance to become addicted to. Its still socially excuseable, its easier (as far as addictions are concerned) to give up compared to the likes of heroin or meth and you still get all the credit and sympathy cups of tea as a real addict.

    Win win.

Become reliant on alcohol to function - pretty much it, I believe.

Start injecting cider. Mind the air bubbles though. Or start sniffing deodorants.

    All good.
