Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like there running out of ideas. Well they've had a good run, 18 years or something like that? Had to come to an end sometime I suppose.

To be fair, Apres match has been way below par this year when compared to other tournaments. South Africa 2010, I remember they were hilarious, much funnier than this year.

Funnily enough I remember SA 2010 as the first tournament where I was disappointed in Apres Match several times.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    What the hell is this?

I'm only amused that they keep saying the people are from Clontarf and I was in Clontarf for the first time ever on Tuesday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

That was like drilling a hole in my head!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭The_B_Man

That should not have been in the voting in first place.

Maybe the top 10 worst ones.

There is about 40 ones better then that at least.

Right so feck the euro 2012 draft, a proper whats the best Apres Match vote is needed.

gaa Assimitlation gets my vote cloesly followed by badger badger badger and not far behind is the nordie final score and maybe a sellotanta waving pipes one.

I thought it was very funny, by no means their best but very funny.

Showing up Joe Duffy for how he represents boring people...hasn't changed in 12 years.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,040 ✭✭✭markie29

joe duffy voted for joe duffy because he likes the sound of joe duffy when he is talking.....who in the right mind voted for that?

    A woman from Clontarf.

Sorry but I thought that was absolute class, remember seeing it the first time and great to see it agin. :D

The funniest thing about it was the way the middle guy (Risteard Cooper?) was corpsing and trying to contain himself from bursting out laughing from about the middle of the sketch onwards. He was only one or two "I'd a lady from Clontarf.."'s away from totally losing it. :D

Wasn't crazy about that Apres Match. For me the best skit ever was the spoof of the Roy Keane/Tommy Gorman interview starring Dunphy. That actually cheered me up at that miserable time.

The GAA assimilation trio are top spot, but honourable mentions to the "who am I talking to" City Channel one, the 2002 Nike ad recreation and the northern final score..

    It's uploaded already.

I missed Liam's comment about getting a Brazilian on his hoop at the very end of the video. Up there with the best I've seen. Glad to see Craig Doyle make an appearance again.
