Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why isn't it a national priority that we win Eurovision?

To bad we will never vote it in though

Therein lies the problem: bring back panelists' selection? Worked before.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Damn Ireland... I'm rather embarrassed for you....

But seriously, one actually thinks winning a song contest should be on the same list as jobs, economy, health care, and sovereignty?

It's not a priority purely because of the cost involved. If we were to host the eurovision, there isn't really any venue big enough for it.

You need space for all the countries performing as well as the broadcasters from around 42 countries and all their equipment. The staging the past few years has been so good that whatever we might do would probably be an embarrassment.

Ireland could stage an Austerity Eurovision, ie present it like it used to be before about 1994 when it went all ersatz glam with the Nazi dancing half time by Riverdance.
