    Bengals @ Eagles

    Very tense, tight game.
Bengals defense forced FG's and punts in first half and went into half-time with a lead thanks to some impressive rushing from Michael Turner.
    14-6 CIN

Second half very tight, terrible decision by Cam Newton to throw as Bengals drive into opposition territory. Eagles pounce and score to make it 14-13 CIN.

Bengals eat up clock wih running game before pounding in another TD. 21-13 CIN

First play after kickoff, Patrick takes it to the house with an 80yd run.
    21-20 CIN

Bengals eat up more clock, Cam Newton taking over. Eventually BEst runs in a TD.
    28-20 CIN with 3:44 left

Desperation stuff for Philly, some big plays, screen pass, 4th down conversion clock winds down as Colt McCoy sneaks in for a 1yd TD with 0:06 left.
2-point conversion coming up.... and the Bengals defensive front penetrates and stuffs the run behind the line of scrimmage!
    28-26 CIN

Onside kick doesn't go the required distance. Bengals kneel it out for the win.

Arian Foster didn't touch the ball once all game. Duvon Patrick was great in space and ripped off some long runs.
No sacks in the game at all - Newton throwing short all the time, McCoy getting the ball away quickly.

Godd chatting to you Empacher, best of luck with the season.

Bengals improve to 7-2 to tighten their grip on the AFC North

Browns beat the Ravens Rob so i'd say you have a pretty firm grip on the division

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Giants

The 7-1 Giants took on the 7-1 Bucs at MetLife Stadium in the New Meadowlands in New Jersey, New York... to give it its full title. The Bucs we’re coming off an impressive win over the 49ers and the Giants we’re completing the sweep of division rivals the Redskins. The Bucs won the toss and deferred the kickoff. The wet and windy New York weather suited the Giants power running and short passing game as they immediately set about challenging the Bucs defense.

The Bucs hadn’t given up more than 30 rushing yards in 5 weeks. Unfortunately, Ndamukong Suh and Jay Ratliff we’re both suffering from a Freaky Friday body swap. With Suh and Ratliff’s body in a high school math class, their body swaps Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff never managed to get the required push up the middle. The Giants RB’s ran riot with rookie Zach Lamothe taking the first carry of the game for 35 yards. A few plays later Lamothe broke through 4 tackles to score the first TD of the game. 7-0 Giants.

Lofa Tatupu was heard to say to Keith Rivers, “wow, this guy is like the second coming of Barry Sanders”. DJ Williams, after posting the Bucs game plan on Twitter (Topical joke...) chimed in a said, “No he’s not I’m afraid. He’s a 3rd string, white RB. We’re just gonna play crap today... it’s decided... we’ve missed the first tackle so that’s our effort for the game decided by some silly Madden algorithm!!!” Keith Rivers looked confused.

The Bucs offense received the ensuing kickoff. There were a few offensive issues which began almost immediately. Josh Freeman doesn’t like the rain. He has awareness 83, throwing power 97, throwing accuracy 90 and throwing in the rain 12. This is because his hands are made from a graphite filled polymer which has a coefficient of friction of 0.08. Combine this with a hint of precipitation and no throw will go within 10 yards of its intended targets.

There additional issues stemming from a team meeting earlier in the week. Josh Freeman was told during these meetings that the key to unlocking the Giants D was to go to Roddy WHITE. However, Freeman was busy painting Chris Snee’s nails and only partially heard the instruction. He spent the whole day forcing the ball to Jordy “WHITE guy” Nelson!!! Not paying attention in team meetings and the weather conditions meant Freeman swiftly threw a pass to the area occupied by Asante Samuel. Asante Samuel was the only player for within 20 yards and picked the ball off!!!

The Giants once more ploughed through Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff with Mendenhall setting Brees up for a QB sneak to give them a commanding 14-0 lead in the second quarter. The Bucs offense returned to the field with a new game plan... run the ball!!! Unfortunately, The Bucs OLine forgot that the key word in the phrase “run block” is in fact block and not run. Time after time, seasoned veterans such as Chris Snee and Brandon Albert were admiring each other’s nail polish as the ball was snapped, leaving Giants DT’s such as Terrence Knighton and Haloti Ngata Jnr free runs at a frightened DeMarco Murray. The Bucs went 3 and out and punted back to the Giants.

The Giants marched back into Buc territory but a slant to Greg Little saw the receiver tackled just short of the 1st down line forcing the Giants to punt. The Bucs finally got going, Freeman finding Nelson on several occasions. A big hit on Tamme by the Landshark Jnr – Kenyon Hubert just short of the 1st down line brought out the 121 year old, semi fossilised Adam Vinitieri to attempt a 50 yard FG. Despite hitting 100% power and having the wind in his back, the kick fell just 32 yards short and Vinitieri’s left leg detached itself from his body!!! The half ended as it started, with the Giants running and Freeman throwing a pass to Antrel Rolle for an int. 14-0 HT

The 3rd quarter began with the Bucs receiving, Freeman throwing his 3rd int and being pulled from the game. Brees hit Greg Little Deep to give the Giants an insurmountable 21-0 lead. Ryan Mallet came in for the Bucs and immediately completed a 1st down pass. Then threw the ball to the Landshark Jnr. The Giants took pity on the inept Bucs and only ran for short gains. A brilliant tackle from Lindsay Lohan who used her fake nose as a speed bump to trip up Tomlinson saw the Giants punt again. The Bucs offense reappeared but by now were achieving legendary levels of incompetence. Levels not seen since the 2007 Oakland Raiders as they strived towards a record setting 9 turnovers performance. I feel bad suggesting that cause that’s almost slanderous towards JaWalrus Russell... almost.

After another one of the many INT’s, the Giants got the ball back. Brees hit Kevin Walter and his getaway-from-the-slow-fat-mall-cop speed who scored to give the G-men a 28-0 lead. Another interception and 2 Buc fumbles led to Billy Cundiff field goals. Mallet managed to remove the big, fat, bagel from the Bucs scoreboard as he hit Worley deep for a last gasp TD to leave the final score 34-7 to the Giants.

The key word to this game is momentum. Brees hit his receivers early and often and hit 14 of 17 for 206 yards 2 tds and no ints. Some might say conservative, I would say playing the conditions!

MOTM: The Landshark Jnr – 2 ints, 2 forced fumbles, 6 tackles, and for buzzing around the field like a landshark!!!

Goat of the game: Josh Freeman/Ryan Mallett: for being told to throw the ball to Roddy White and completing more passes to Asante Samuel, The Landshark Jnr, Antrel Rolle and Mario Williams

Outlook: The Bucs take their now 7-2 record to the Georgia Dome for a crucial divisional clash with the Falcons, looking to get back to winning/non-shambolic ways. The Giants now hold an 8-1 record and a tough divisional game awaits against the Cowboys in week 11

I reckon if i hadn't turned the ball over 9 times, run for more than 20 yards and not had a defense on strike (bloody unions!!!) i would have definitely won
