Boards touch redirects to porn sites.

    Not sure why, but I have been redirected to a site called adimpclick several times today on the touch interface. Happening on both my Samsung Phone and iPod Touch.

    Hi,

    When I access boards touch on my mobile it automatically redirects to porn sites. It does not happen if I look at the full site on my mobile using both my phone and pc. I have accessed other touch sites on my phone such as politics.ie, ebay, google without issue. I have also installed AVG on my android phone, and wiped the cache, cookies etc. Is it just me or is this an issue for others.

    I had the same issue earlier. I wiped my cache and all internet history and its now stopped. I use avast as my AV.

    I'm getting exactly the same thing on my iPhone, keeps redirecting me to this adimpclick page. Seems to be when browsing AH more than others.

    I'm guessing something is up with one of the ads running on the site. I saw it once on my phone earlier today but haven't seen it since. I'm investigating it now.

    I'm reasonably certain that this is a problem with one of the ad networks we use.

    It seems to have stopped now, I haven't been able to reproduce in at least half an hour. I'm guessing that whatever ad was causing the problem has been evicted from the network. Please let me know if it is still occurring for you. Any additional details would also be useful, like the page you were on when if got triggered.

    Still getting redirected, but not to porn. Seems to happen the first time you access touch boards.ie after you clean the cache. If you back page to boards after redirect it doesn't happen again (untill you clean the browser)

    Just cleaned the cache and got redirected to loads of sites including porn sites. This would suggests to me that there is foul play.

    Happened to me as well accessing on i-phone via hotel wi-fi, thought the problem was with the hotel network 'til I saw this thread.

    I'm getting the same thing on my iphone all day too. Thought it was just something wrong with my phone.

    I just tried to click on links to Work and Jobs forum at the bottom of Unpaid Leave thread and got a redirect to adtechus.com

    Has anyone else seen an issue where you only get the first line of a post unless the post is quoting another post?

    I've turned back on ads this morning, We've got bills to pay and I'm assuming that the offending ad has been flushed from the network at this stage.

    If the problem crops up again for anyone please let us know here.

    It just happened me in the last 2 mins. The same thing as the past few days.

    No problem. It happened when I tried to enter the Health & Fitness forum if that's any help to you. Although it has also happened when I clicked on other forums too so it doesn't seem to be just isolated to that.

    OK we think we might have found the culprit, ads turned back on again with that potentially bad ad cleared. Can you advise if you see it again?
