I'd prefer Long but in fairness to Cox he has played well whenever he has started in a green shirt. Was great against Armenia last year and is an improvement on Doyle in my book.

I don't think it'll make much diff but I'd have no problems bringing Cox into the team at this point.

being realistic an Italian victory is needed. We need Croatia to lose their last two games. Assuming that we can get at least 4 points and Spain win their last game.

We need this to be a draw, us to draw with Spain, and then we beat Italy and Croatia beat Spain. That's to go through with GD left aside. A big ask, but possible.

Alternatively, we beat Italy AND Spain. Again, a massive, massive ask.

We'd finish above Italy because of better head to head, goal difference wont matter
