Maths Paper 2 - Can I use booklet?

I am doing Honors Paper 2 and was wondering can we put our answers on the booklets? I am really not looking forward to flicking through the pages every second to look at the diagrams etc. Or do we have to use the boxes?

Apparently they're perfectly entitled to not correct your exam if you're "cheeky" enough to do that. It's ridiculous, but I think you have to use the squares.
