Spain is to borrow 100m euro, following the footsteps of greece, ireland and portugal. but why has it been only the countries that are mainly catholic that have needed a bailout and not one of countries in the eu that is mainly protestant? i know most people might not be involved in organised religion anymore but religion has played a bi part in forming how we behave. is it the protestant work ethic that's the difference??? are catholics more corrupt?
