    Hi folks,

Just looking for a bit of advice.

My immersion switch has been acting strange lately. I can switch it down (on) but it is extremely difficult to put the switch in the off position .

Also even when its on it doesn't seem to be heating the water.

I suppose i'll have to get an electrician in ?

Yep sounds like switch burnt out / damaged.
    Safer to get electrician in.

Sounds like a faulty switch. If u have any hesitation about looking into it then get someone who knows what they're doing. Consequences could be fairly serious as u know

    agree here
    time to replace the switch
    that should resolve your issues
turn power off if you are tackling this yourself
