    obsessively.

I did bad things on Sims. I used to make them have sex to up the happiness level or whatever, but I'd save the game beforehand because I didn't want them having babies, I'd just quit it if they made a baby! Sometimes I'd let them have a baby, cos I like babies, or I'd not have saved it before, but then when it was a kid annoying me with it's school and not being so cute I'd let social services take them...takes a long time and a lot bad behaviour to make SS take them :( After doing that twice I had to be more careful with their contraception, ie had to make sure to save the game before they had sex.

    lol

yeah, if you put a locker beside the kid's bed, bam, no school for a while -> boot camp!
if you don't answer the baby crying as well they'd take them away

Stupid fcuking depression acting up again.

Also mightily pissed off at my granny - there were a load of towels in the washing machine, so I put the washing powder/fabric softener in and turned it on, she had to turn it off 'cos I didn't do it right'.

She has some mental block about me using the machine, I can never do it right, when I was younger 15/16/17, she wouldn't let me wash dishes 'cos I didn't do it right.

Is it any wonder my family think I am some lazy layabout who won't do a fcuking thing apart from cooking and baking.

Sure at 21, I wouldn't have the mental capacity to use a washing machine.......

I used to make sure to save just before the baby 'evolved' into a child and keep resetting until I got a cute one :) No ugly children in my house! Once I got a child with zero personality bars, she was really easy to manage lol

I reckon if I didn't play The Sims so much in the last few years, I'd have a couple of degrees and a good job by now. Maybe even a boyfriend! Instead I just have loads of perfect imaginary people.

I vary between making their lives perfect to destroying any hope of them being normal. I often give Mammy fertility treatment, make her have twins/triplets, make one of them a shining star (Genius, Good, Brave, Athletic etc.), then I make an EVIL TWIN (Klepto, Inappropriate, Evil, etc.)

I then let Free Will run and see who mammy likes better.

Sometimes I make Hydrophobics go swimming, or serve Vegetarians meat, just for funsies. I'm mad like that.

I love the Sims! I recently installed it on my laptop, started playing, next thing I looked at the clock and it was 3am  I uninstalled it the next day but it's so much fun.

If I even considered taking out the iron there'd be war, my grandmother seems to think that if you are intelligent (i;e, do well in exams, school, college, work etc) that you know it all, my two auntie's are similar.

It's so so frustrating because I am 21 yet not allowed to use the washing machine.

When I decided to cook spicy beer roast chicken recently, my mother had to ask my bf in front of me if it is OK to put the beer bottle into the oven, even though I had repeatedly told her it was fine and my bf always does it, yet she felt the need to make me feel small by asking him in front of me, y'know, in case I might deliberately decide to put the bottle into the oven and 'cause an explosion.

I'm convinced it's to do with my age and/or lack of education.

Before I went back to college a few years ago to do my leaving cert and hopefully I'd go onto third level education, my granny told me I hadn't the brains for it.

I'm not the brightest spark around, I'm also not completely stupid, although going by my family you'd think I was.

I use www.blogspot.com - it's simple, free and easy to use.

Lovely Muffin my ex boyfriend's mother is like that, thinks unless you have a Masters or a degree like her that you're thick as shit, I dropped out of two college courses when I was with him and have just Leaving Cert and FETAC courses (which might as well be a cert from €2 shop with people like that) so she always treated me like I wasn't good enough for him, stupid in general etc. Funny how she was my new best friend after we broke up and I did well for myself, without a college education!!

To be honest I would just tell the both of them to sod off and go for it, they're hardly going to physically pull you away from the washing machine and whatever else. If that doesn't work I would go around the house demanding that all my meals be cooked for me and my washing done for me like a child because that's the way you're being treated.

The Sims is awesome. I like putting people in a very small box with a fridge facing backwards.

    Epic trolling. ;)

There must be something wrong with me (or maybe all of you!) 'cause I never trolled the game. I just made really pretty houses with rich families full of over-achievers! :o Although sometimes I made them have many, many lovers

Husband/wife gone to work, pick up phone, call neighbour, invite over. Seduce neighbour on footpath outside of house.

Muffin, hope you're okay. PM is always there if you need a chat.

krudler Blogger is the one I use if that's any good to you. It's easy enough to use. I haven't updated mine in a couple of months, should really get back to it.. :o Might do a small update later even though I haven't knitted anything since the last update. I have been planning on doing a blanket made out of squares sewn together.

No idea what I did to my shoulder but I can barely move it without it paining me. Well actually it's more the top of my arm than my shoulder. It feels like someone hit me and bruised it but nobody hit me and there's no bruise!

My brother is in the middle of his Leaving Cert at the moment. He's doing good he thinks. He tends to be down on himself so he probably did really really well. He's got no idea what he wants to do, he just has a load of business courses down on his CAO.

Speaking of college, I wonder when I'll hear about my course. I applied to AIT's admissions office directly. Anyone have any idea? Might actually post this over in the AIT forum.

Once I made a bar and trapped the bartender, Rowdy Ritchie, permanently behind it. He was an unhappy Sim. Another time I dressed one of the fat Sims as Elvis, trapped him on the toilet and let him die there...

    I'm easily amused.

Spouse comes home and catches your Sim in flagrante delicto -- "baby please, it meant nothing!" in Simlish. Then a lot of talktalkhughugkisskiss until you're back in the good books.

    Just like life.

    :pac:

I really, really hate that kind of attitude and behaviour.

My mother and all her five siblings have no third level education, yet all have jobs, two of whom, run their own successful businesses.

I've a 14yo cousin in Junior Cert and his older sister who's a teacher was telling their mother that "she'd want to be putting pressure on him to do well", even though he already does well. He's studies hard, OK, so sometimes he might not study coming up to exams, but he still manages to do well because he's lucky enough to have a natural ability.
To be honest I would just tell the both of them to sod off and go for it, they're hardly going to physically pull you away from the washing machine and whatever else. They wouldn't physically pull me away, well my mother wouldn't, she has no problems with me using the machine/iron etc, just my granny, but my granny would actually turn off the machine and leave the wet clothes/towels in it until she felt it was OK to turn it on.

I just find it embarrassing and infuriating that at 21 my granny thinks I am so incompetent that I couldn't use a washing machine or iron, it's insulting.

    Thanks Jane :)

Jane I don't know what the system is but definitely keep on top of it yourself. Part of the reason my boyfriend didn't go back to WIT last September to finish his degree by night classes (so he could still open his business) was because they never contacted him with a timetable, start date, nothing. The course was in the fifth week by the time he found out. The reason why he didn't chase them himself was because he had so much going on getting his business up and running. WIT admissions office were full of BS, we rang your mobile and sent texts (he's had the same mobile number for years but funnily never received those calls/texts), said they also sent letters etc. which he also never received.

I've definitely come to believe that if you want anything you have to do it all yourself.

chicken stir fry, bag of frozen "asian" stir fry by green isle i think it is - nothing added, just a nice mix of veg
throw in some honey, cinnamon, cumin, ginger, lemon
if you want a kick throw in some harsher spice, i like mine mild

i will also admit the only packet spice i use is el paso bbq spice, it's yummy :o

We had chicken yesterday but I'm sure I could try it using beef? Bbq spice sounds delicious all right....

Thanks pixiebean, I think I might give them a ring during the week and just see what the story is. I need to start looking into grants/BTEA and I've had a look at some apartments. I know the place quite well, I was there for 3 years before.

I must be one of the only people that hasn't played The Sims.. :o

you can be a lesbian in the Mass Effect games as part of the storyline, EA got loads of complaints from christian groups about the homosexuality in it, I like the idea that games are growing up enough to have gay relationships as parts of the them though.
