Just had an older disabled lady tell me how she missed her mammy and daddy and how they used to look after her. I nearly cried for her. I am definately coming down with something!

Just had to take in a delivery for my bf and the delivery guys says to me "is this for your boyfriend?" "Yes", says I, "he's always talking about ya, he's madly in love with ya", I went bright red. :o

Brightened up my otherwise dull day!

god yeah, classic game, the artwork and music in it are amazing

The music in it was awesome, it had that kinda very Japanese anime OST style that just manages to hit the emotions just right. have a listen to this, epic nostalgia porn:

I dunno what it is, but it's always Japanese scores that does it for me, like the music in the studio ghibli films, or final fantasy 7 :)
Forget the sims, diablo.is where its at?

Diablo 3 is far too addictive, I'm spending hours at it. I do very much love Blizzard's games :)

Ye're about the two year mark right?

We were the same. I dislocated my toe once from kicking a wall in frustration once.

Hang in there and keep talking, lovely.

ellie1, at the two year mark, my boyfriend and I were having an awful time of it. I was on a pill that was sending me loopy, making the whole situation ten times worse. But we talked lots and stuck it out, and now we're getting on better than ever. It must be a two-year itch or something, but it's definitely resolvable. As DK says, keep talking and give each other space when you need it.QUOTE]

Thanks for the support Ladies.....we had a bit of a natter last night and things are ok at the moment. I have booked a restaurant for the two of us on Saturday night as a surprise, I think we need some time together.

I'm one of those odd people who has never played the Sims, sounds like fun though! I think that level of power would corrupt me too much anyway :p

I have never played the sim game either but am tempted after reading all the posts about it!!

My daughters school report arrived today, seems to be nearly the opposite as to how she got on last year, she scored poor on her social and personal development this year. She says she is poor at managing her own feelings..... The mind boggles....

I'm not sure tbh, the bf says yer man was messing and that he only mentioned me to the delivery guy today, but the delivery has delivered stuff here before.

So the bf is here now and is playing bubble shoot on my phone and asked me which level he can beat and then goes "69?" with a smirk. :D

I remember the days when all we had was our cousin's hand-me-down 2600 playing Qbert :)

Some delivery guys are quite chatty it seems! One asked out my former housemate in Maynooth when he called to the door and she answered it. Was weird....

Seconding the Theme Hospital love. Absolutely loved that :)

All this retro game talk is making me want to go play Super Metroid again though... *hums Brinstar theme*

They are indeed, at my bf's house this morning I had to take in another delivery and the delivery guy as if I was finished school for the summer, when I informed him I am 21 he couldn't believe it, the look of shock on his face was quite funny.

All he said was "no way? Really?!" I found it funny tbh and when I said "yeah really" he was like "b..but you don't look it". :D

Bearing in mind I had stumbled out of bed to open the door, hadn't a lick of make up on me, hair not brushed etc. Even with make up I get told I don't look my age and sometimes get ID'd when buying alcohol or sometimes cigarette for the mammy and granny lol.

    Tea now :D Huzzah!

I'm another one who has never played the Sims, the only game I have ever played was a Westlife game on the Play Station 1, and that was about a decade ago :o

I got ID'd for a half pint of London Pride during the Champions League final in a pub in London last month. Given that I'm 28 in a few weeks, I found that pretty funny :p

They didn't last long together, I still joke with her how clingy he was from the first date. Cuddling her even when everyone else was still in the room, it was cringeworthy! Maybe they're all talk?

Now tea, there's a good idea.

Yeah, I love it. I have nothing bad to say about The Sims ever though, I'm essentially an addict. I was recovered, but not anymore!

Championship manager was my heroin... You'd get up on Saturday at 10am and start playing and then it'd be dark all of a sudden.
