Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

954 vs k3/k4 1000

    Simple as..

    Looking into getting a cheap faired thou for commuting/scratching/bit of long range stuff (3-500 miles a day ish) ..

    Kind of brought it down to a 954 but starting to like the look of the k3/k4's too..

    a 2004 zx10 could also be put into the mix..

    Pros and cons what would ye go for?..

    God, that's a toughie. Straight away I'd take the ZX10 out of the mix. Don't get me wrong - it's my dream bike (esp the 2004 version) but it's a bit too raw and wild and unpredictable for what you're looking for IMHO.

    Leaving the gixxer and Honda, I'd be inclined to lean towards the 954. A few of my mates have this and tend to prefer it to the gixxer. Maybe Honda reliability/durability/dependability? I think all round it's a better bike.
