Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What about Young ? Virtually all he's had to offer so far is the odd dive.

I think the club partnership with Rooney and Welbeck will be invaluable tonight. If he didn't have that I'd put Ox in, Young's not had a great tournament yet.

I genuinely thought you were trying to link an Omelet recipe for the match later or something when I first read it :p

Ibra will be a tough test for Rami and Mexes but I feel as if they have been growing in confidence and should cope fairly well.

M'Vila in for Cabaye and Ben Arfa in for Menez. Blanc obviously didn't want to upset our Geordie friends too much.

the amount QF talk on british TV is unreal..talk about counting your chickens before they hatch

i find it funny that we constantly criticise the english for their expectations in tournaments, and then some of us slate ourselves for under-expecting or not "going there to win it". just an observation, not accusing you particularly

Blanc has brought on Malouda. Does he want to play against Spain ?

France seem completely devoid of ideas. Not the first time this tournament

Truly abysmal from France - back to 2010

Option A. Spain followed by Portugal/Czech in the semis or
Option B. Italy followed by Germany (or Greece). in the semi.

If you are hoping for the easier quarter final then B.
If you are planning on getting to the final then A is probably the route to go.
    Clever French.

    France have looked shockingly bad.

No ideas whatsoever. All to often there have been a bunch of players lined up outside the 18 yard box with nobody actually in the box.

Benzema has been a shadow of his Real self.

Sweden score five goals to finish last. I'd say that's some sort of record in recent times at least.

That Ibra goal is amazing. What a goal! He has been brilliant in this tournament.

He looks lazy, but delivers the goods. Looks to have so much space all the time.
