Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Wrist watches were invented ~1900. That film was shot in ~1958.

    It's literally an epic. That's why it's 4 hours long.

    I wouldn't consider it a riveting watch tbh but it is an iconic film.

    I'd go with "Lawrence of Arabia" every time in the epic classic film choice battle.

    I watched it on Stephen's Day (I think) very hungover and it was great. Really long, but you could kind of switch off and fall asleep and then wake up and get back in to it.
