It would depend on when you took out the mortgage, and your current rate of TRS.

the groutch

looks like you'll hit the TRS ceilings, which assuming you've had the mortgage for 3 years now, is €2,250 pa (€187.50 pm) for the next two years, and then €2,000 pa (€166.67 pm) for the following two.

mortgage was taken out in 2007 for 570000. left to pay: 525000. Rate of TRS, approx 8%.

IF a person has 2 mortgages, one investment mortgage ,one standard loan, is the trs ceiling still the same.ie 2200 this year.
by the way you only get , 7 years trs.

I am hopefully getting a mortgage soon:

190.000 for 35 years interest of 4.2%

could someone please let me know how much would I benefit of TRS?

The scheme was stopped a couple of years ago

Only mortgages taken out before 2013 qualify for this.
