Drove the Siobhán McKenna Rd. earlier and noticed at the end of it (Rahoon end) there were a good few Gardaí. I turned right to head up towards Drum and noticed on my way up that road that there were more Gardaí who seemed to be taking statements and stopping people on the road & footpaths to talk to them.
    Wondering what's going on?

I didn't ask as I was driving and got waved on. Car on front of me got stopped and do did one behind me and it didn't look like they were looking at tax and insurance!

    *shrugs shoulders*
    Let us speculate.
Maybe the President is at home? Maybe there is a funeral happening? Maybe it is a traffic survey to gauge people's frustration with the SQR?

Could be anything. Perhaps there will be something in the papers.

    Correct.

There was a very serious rahoonery there last night. The third one in as many weeks. It's getting out of control. I blame the SQR, Ciaran Hayes, Padraig Conneely, public transport, the lack of public transport and cyclists.

Ah bless the Luxembourg Boxing Federation and their willingness to sanction anything.

Perhaps Saturday June 2nd was a better opportunity, there being only three Gardai on duty in Salthill that day.

Not that there's a post office in Rahoon or Knockers to buy a stamp in, never mind rob...
