External or Portable Hard Drive

Hey guys, have over 900 dvds and i'm looking for a hard drive to put them onto.

I'd like one that can be hooked up to my tv directly (if this possible at all).

Also can someone tell me what I should be looking for in terms of size/usage?

Would 2tb be big enough to hold 900 dvds worth?

This is what I am using http://www.memoryc.ie/products/description/2TB_LaCie_Network_Space_2_Home_Connected_Storage-Ethernet-USB2_0-Neil_Poulton/index.html with a http://www.memoryc.ie/products/description/Midte_MDT_MC1080_HDMI_Full_HD_1080P_Media_Player/index.html which allows me to connect to my TV.You will find plenty of hardrive units out there and for the amount of dvds you have you should look at the 2Tb.You should also look at http://download.cnet.com/HandBrake/3000-2194_4-10808250.html cuts down on the space required.

the second link you provided is the actual hard drive, how does that work alongside the first link?
