Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Assuming you do not spend all of it on boards, what do the sophisticated people of After Hours do with their free time?

I use the word sophisticated loosely.

Wake up, eat something, waste time on internet, go for a run or gym (alternate days), eat again, waste time on internet, try to do something productive, usually fail, learn something new, usually not of much use or significance to me*, eat again, waste time on internet, feel bad for wasting another day doing not much, cry myself to sleep...

*Today I learnt how induction coils and transistors work! Wohoo!! :)

Intimidate the neighbours, bit of drawing/sketching and ring local radio stations making bizarre weather and traffic reports.

That's right mrs , I killed your pet poodle, just a bit more shading and would you believe its snowing in Bray.

Summer break off college for me...

Its a weird time cuz all through the year you wait for the summer break so you can finally relax and then when the summer finally comes, you don't really know what to do...

Takes hours, but sure being on the dole I have all day. I often experiment with beads and ribbons.
split ends can be a problem but the hedge trimmers normally sorts them out

Wake at 6.30 and shower and eat breakfast. Get the baby and 4 year up and dressed ; washed and make the bottles. Drive the kids to nan s and then off to work I go. After work I pick the kids up and head home. Depending if the OH works late I cook the dinners one for us and one for the kids. If the weather is nice I bring them for a walk or play in the green across the road; if its raining I play horsey or generally fool around with them until 7 then get the baby ready for bed; bath night every 3 nights or whenever needed. Baby down by 8; and spend time drawing or reading or playing games with the 4 year old. 9 o clock bed the 4 year old and prepare sandwiches for next day. 9.30 sit down and relax. 11.30 beddy bye byes.
Weekends same routine except replace work with house duties gardening; car maintenance, and play.
    I just love routine.

Im not working, so fcuk all really. Usually couch for the day few beers watching the football games, dvds etc. **** weather so I'm not really leaving the gaf much.

I normally get up between 1 and 3pm. Theres no reason to get up earlier, kind of depressing. Got up at 10am today which is very early for me. Whats the point in getting up early to go on the internet or watch tv. And theres nothing else to do? :(

Probably sounds good to some people, but when you've no money for a car, holidays, gigs etc its not as exciting as it sounds.

I cycle, go to Karate, read (a lot), study, paint miniatures and text friends a lot. If a friend is over I'll play videogames with them or do something else (pellet guns, etc), but I don't play them alone.

I try to be as productive as possible, because that's the easiest path to happiness in my opinion.

I could take it or leave it tbh! :p

Weekdays involve getting up at 8.30am, work 9-5, home to eat, relax for a couple of hours, go play football and then home, eat, tv or internet for an hour or two and then bed!

Weekends involve pub on Saturday around midday, fall home that night then nurse the hangover on Sunday!
