Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I spend all my day on Boards.ie, and working at the same time.
    Great stuff.

I spend most of my day working on my biographies of famous Boards.ie mods.

Anyone interested in Micky Dolenz: the untold story?

On holidays from college at the moment and have spent the last month doing pretty much whatever I want, which is awesome. Boards/Facebook/general browsing, catching up on tv shows and movies, playing video games, reading, hanging out with friends has made up the bulk of it. Still not bored! :D

Working day is work, work, work interspersed with the odd boards snippet and a lunchtime shag from the woman.

Free time is Warhammer modelling/painting , computer games, looking after my tropical fish tank, archery practice, another shag.

Assuming you do not spend all of it on boards, what do the sophisticated people of After Hours do with their free time?

I use the word sophisticated loosely.

    What do you do?

Generally a mix of hanging out with friends, gaming, reading, listening to music.

At the moment however, I have sprained my ankle which is why my boards presence has increased. My not very active lifestyle has become less active.

I get up when I want except on Wednesdays when I get rudely awakened by the dustmen. I put my trousers on, have a cup of tea and I think about leaving the house. I feed the pigeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows too, it gives me a sense of enormous well being.
And then I'm happy for the rest of the day safe in the knowledge there will always be a bit of my heart devoted to it.

I spend the day shaking of the horrible nights sleep I had. Every day.

Finding a job is a challenge for us non-EEA folks so I keep busy with the following:

work (volunteer), cello violin, german turkish, singing, reading, writing, surfing boards, socialising... sometimes

I do a bit of photography but I've not found much to photograph lately. Well, there are the throngs of kids in the track suits and the living dead near O'Connell. I'd like to capture them in their natural habitat but the husband says that is incredibly dangerous. :-(

Get out of bed around 6. Have a quick Shave and then Brush my teeth, then get dressed.

Get down to my car by 6:20 or so.

    Get to work at 7

    Lunch at 12

    Finish at 4:30

    Home by 5:45.

Sit down for 30 minutes or so

Get dinner and be finished that by 7:30

Learn some stuff for work and play around with my test lab or write a blog. Or watch tv and surf the web. Or usually trying all of those at once.

9:30 I hop in the shower and then go to bed and do it all over again.

A working class hero is something to be or middle..whatever

Thread topic reminds of the times our Irish teacher used to force us to write out our daily routine in Irish... brings back a few memories. Years later we had to do it in French. Amazing how so many of us in the class used to have the exact same routine. Tight-knit we were.

The unshaven princess and the panda. I'm 92% sure Aesop told a fable about such a pairing.

I crawl out of bed, with no benefit of sleep.

Get dressed in clothes I buy for work, drive through traffic in a car I'm still paying for, to get to the job I need to pay for the clothes and the car and the house I leave vacant all day so I can afford to live in it.

I spend my day, in a mental battle wondering why the frick I do it, sleep, work, bit of internet, tv, same ****, different day.

Have joined a pool to see if I can learn to swim and then try and swim to america, just for the laugh, coz it'd be a last adventure.

And then I wouldn't be tired anymore.
