I think it goes in the abridged profit and loss, well I know in question 1 the investment interest is always after operating profit, so on that basis should it not go after here too?

Laaaads what a dacent paper. I was going in hoping for a C1 or B3 and after that I'll be very disappointed if I don't get an A. It was so easy.

Any body do the interpetation question. the net profit was kinda wierd. Its interest is usually taken away from it but in this question it wasnt. But since it said net profit i just took that figure. Was this right?

For payback I got 35 years, I must have put in div per share instead of earnings per share, the rest sound right.

Will someone who knows let us know
:if it says "biased on current payout rate" is it Div per share or earnings per share?

To get the amount of time to recoup the value of ordinary share.

How fast do you guys write to be able to record your ratio answers!?!

    DPS!
Based on current earnings is EPS! You pay out dividends, you earn earnings, that's how I always remembered. :P

Yeah but the abridged P&L is only concerned with figures to do with this year (accruals) principle. The actual cash that was received for investment was 2000 in the cash flow

if i wrote it down and crossed it out but they can still see it will i get the marks?
