Alaska Electricial Work?

    Hey guys just wondering if any of the members are irish electricians in alaska? and if so is there a lot of work goin on there? i dont fancy travelling to oz or new zealand.. so iam thinking cananda or alaska its early days just said i would post here for some advice, thanks in advance ross:D

    As Alaska is part of the US there are no work visas really given out to electricians or other tradesmen. The US only gives out work visas to people that work in highly specialised areas. I'm not saying being an electrician isn't specialised work but the US probably has enough of its own electricians. The US is a closed shop these days, you'll have an easier time getting into Canada.
