Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

By chrome pack, do you mean side steps, mirror covers, A bar, spotlights rear frame and that kind of stuff?

I assume you mean non VW stuff

Try Towing Equipment or Mr. Bullbar in Dublin, or Westend Motors in Mullingar.

D&S Roe in Ballymount Dublin 12 do a lot of that stuff.

You go in with cash and I am sure they will. A lot of the wholesalers say they don't, but they will. If not they will direct you to there nearest stockist. Have a look at their website.

Just drive in to halfords, then if you lucky shiny stuff will stick to your car. You might have an odd look, but feck them! :D

to be fair the small engine was the only offputting thing on them really. Lovely big pickup and really comfy and well equipped inside, Was considering one, but then the 3 litre V6 navara reared its head so unless VW wants to throw the V6 TDI or even better the V10 TDI into one its back to the shadows for the amarok.

Ah sure if not why not :D
    Just on experience so far!
Well it the boss man doing most o the driving so should be ok. Seems grand so far, on trip clock says between 7 & 8 l per 100kms. Driving easy it up on 40mpg, on trailer going hard it went to 9l/100kms (31mpg aprox.) I put her on cattle trailer the last day to break it in! Couldnt believe it, low box excellent, went around wet field with trailer. I know its nothing special, but good for us so far! We were looking at other ones, same power / more torque as upqraded/re-mapped l200 & D-max, 3litre hilux quotes slightly better figures. Wider load area also.
