If its to run an electric guitar amp to bash ham fisted Metallica riffs out of all day then please don't! :p

You'll need a car battery and an inverter or a battery powered amp dude.

It seems to me that everybody is using the various Roland busking solutions. Although I don't busk, I think they are very good and value for money.

    Cheers

This will do the trick. The price is a bit higher on the site there, but I got it for €215 in the shop. That said, the price might have just gone up.

Runs on 6xAA batteries and lasts between 6-10 hours depending on how loud you are using it. It also comes with a plug for practising at home.

Anyway, great amp, 2 seperate channels (1 for your mic, and 1 for your guitar -be it electric or acoustic) and also an auxiliary input if you wanna plug in an mp3 player or the likes for backing tracks.

Perfect volume for busking on Grafton actually, I do it quite often. Go for it :)

This seems like a good buy, if you cant afford the street cube.
