Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Selling 2nd Hand Clothes

    Hey folks

When I was in London recently my cousin took me to a 2nd hand shop which had clothes, jewellery, furniture etc. Now I know there are 2nd hand clothes shops here but this one was slightly different. You brought your stuff in, agreed a price on everything with the shop and they displayed it and sold it. They obviously took a cut of the proceeds but you got the rest. All the items were coded for each seller and the shop wrote every transaction down to keep track.

Any ideas if there is anything like that here?

There is a shop like that where i live. There is a huge difference between the price of the item being sold and the price that the seller receives. Rather than advertising themselves as second-hand shop they advertuse themselves as preloved.

I find ebay woeful to sell on. I haven't sold one thing on it in the last few months. Maybe ebay used to be good, but there's too money professional sellers on it now, selling goods in bulk and a lot cheaper than you're average seller.

I think if there's a whole load of clothes that you want to get rid of then I would really recommend renting a stall at the dublin flea market. I sold a whole load of clothes there last month, and made €280!

That siopaella looks good good, anyone used them before?
