My main problem with the introduction of the syllabus so late was that we still did paper 1 in the old style, which made it even harder to adjust to Project Maths. It would have been better, but still not ideal, to introduce it as paper 1 and paper 2 all in one go if they were insisting on introducing it to 5th years. Would have stopped teachers shying away from the Project Maths element and would have made it easier to adjust.
