Moved into an apartment in the past 2 months which was sitting over 4 months with no electricity got the first bill and there is a "COS reconnection fee".

I assume this is a once off payment?.

Would I be right in assuming also that my landlord would be responsible for paying this and not the tenant?.

    Cheers..

    Hi Hedzball,

Yes indeed, that is a one-off reconnection charge.

Whomever orders a reconnection is the person billed for it.

    Regards :)
